Research & Development Engineer

Position Summary

Listed work hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

The role of the Research & Development Engineer is doing research and development projects for the company. This includes making significant contributions so that R&D projects can be delivered on time and according to plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contributes to complete R&D projects by assisting in such things as designing & building prototypes, conducting material and part research, testing, completing documentation, training, creating Imbedded Bill of Materials
  • Effectively applies company methodology and adheres to project standards.
  • Provides input for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; concentration in heat transfer and thermodynamics preferred; Master's degree preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Good understanding of 3D CAD computer-based design applications and techniques
